The structured, comprehensive curriculum incorporates music theory (reading staff music, rhythm, note values, time signatures, etc.) and application (playing rhythm instruments, keyboard, sing along, music appreciation, movement). It accesses children's learning through their brain's 'play center,' using themed games, attractive visuals, and delightful auditory aids that make learning exciting and fun. When kids are excited to grasp new concepts, new concepts are easier to grasp.

It's been proven that kids who can understand rhythm and cadence are much more likely to excel in mathematics. When you think about it, it makes perfect sense.

When we teach a child how to hear, visually recognize, and draw a whole note, they learn that a whole note is equal to four beats. A half note is two beats and a quarter note is one beat. Four quarter notes equal one whole note. With that, they are learning not just music, but math and grasping larger concepts and ideas, and applying them in other aspects of their lives. For example~ When they learn four quarter notes equal one whole note, it's easier for them to understand that four quarts equal one whole gallon, and four quarters equal one whole dollar!

When you a give a child a chance to experience Music FunTime, artistically, you open up a whole world of future possibilities. The preschool music program is a precursor for learning an instrument, joining band, orchestra or choir, etc., because the kids already read music and are less likely to be intimidated by aspects of performance. We exponentially increase their ability to learn, period.

Fun & Educational with a lasting effect

  • Music FunTime's innovative program design is based on learning and child development research
  • Studies from top research institutions indicate that exposure to music and an understanding of music theory at an early age enhances a child's learning in all areas
  • Kids who are comfortable reading music learn to read language much more quickly, because while the symbols are different, the systems are comparable.
  • Learning music increases a child’s comprehension and math skills.
  • Music classes can help your child become more confident, and better at communication.

Music FunTime enhances a child's educational development, social and creative learning skills. Our program graduates are exceptionally well prepared to excel in all types of learning. They can easily continue into private music lessons, and have music be a cherished part of their lives, as well.
