Practice Timer and Stats

• Track how much time your child practices.
• View detailed insights on their consistency and progress.

Lesson Recordings

• Review lessons at any time for tricky sections or missed details.
• Perfect for encouraging independent practice at home.
  
• These rewards inflate their confidence exponentially. And you'll feel proud watching that trophy stand fill up, one achievement at a time. (Fact is, the trophies keep getting larger. The five-year trophy barely fits on that trophy stand. The ten-year trophy has to stand on the floor, it's nearly 5 feet tall...)

Assignments

• Receive personalized tasks and exercises from their teacher.
• Each assignment helps your child focus on targeted skills.
• Hidden benefit: when your child has to have a sub, all their materials, assignments, past work, uploads, etc, are in one place for the sub to review at a glance. No more wasted time asking, "So, what are you working on right now?"

Interactive Tools

• Metronome: Improve rhythm and timing.
• Whiteboards: Interactive visuals to make music concepts clearer.
• Clips: Record practice sessions and share them with the teacher for feedback. Your teacher may record a clip blended with yours and send it back. And then you can do the same. Back and forth. Like tennis.

Follow these simple steps to set up your Muzie account and start your music lessons.

Step 1: Create Your Account

• Visit the Muzie website (you’ll receive an email from us with your unique link).
• Follow the prompts to set up your family’s account.

Step 2: Log in to Your Portal

• Use the login credentials from your account setup to access the Student Portal.
• Explore features such as shared files, lesson recordings, and assignments.

Step 3: (For Virtual Lessons)

• Log in a few minutes before the scheduled time to ensure everything runs smoothly.
• Your student can access their lessons through the portal. Just click the Join Lesson button.

Step 4: Track Progress

• Review practice stats and assignments on the dashboard.
• Encourage your child to check their progress regularly and celebrate achievements!

Step 5: Stay Connected

• Use the chat function to communicate with your child’s teacher. This built-in communication platform is completely transparent to you, the the student, the teacher, and the Front Desk at the school. Messages can not be deleted.

• Leverage Recordings: Encourage your child to revisit lesson recordings (usually recorded as a "clip" during the student's lesson) when stuck on a tricky piece. It’s like having their teacher available anytime!
• Use the Metronome: The built-in metronome helps with staying on tempo, a crucial skill for any musician.
• Check Assignments: Help your child focus on assignments provided by the teacher. These are designed for gradual skill-building.
• Connect with Your Community: While your child is learning, use our education and community resources to meet other parents and share tips.
