If you've ever dealt with a tight-knit family calendar, you know how quickly plans can change. Illness, vacations, or last-minute obligations can easily disrupt extracurricular commitments.

Makeup Options at GAA

• Rescheduling:
  This is usually possible provided there is room in the teacher’s calendar. We aim to reschedule for the current week, or following week at the latest.
• Distance Learning:
  f your student is available, but for whatever reason can’t come in to have their lesson, a remote session over our bespoke Muzie platform is a highly recommended option.
• Recorded video makeup:
  Unless the lesson has been rescheduled for the immediate future, your teacher will typically record a 12-15 minute comprehensive video makeup. This will include a review of current work and the introduction of new material. Your student can interact with the material and ask the teacher questions (via secure chat) throughout the week.
• Our very latest offering: Group enrichment classes (aka Group Makeups)
  Group makeups are held on select weeknights and on Saturdays. Various classes are offered for a variety of instrument types and player levels. Check the schedule for when class is scheduled for your instrument and level.
  
  Group lessons are a great opportunity to step out of the “isolation” of private instruction and make music with other people, There is always a theory component, maybe some music history, then everyone gets a chance to demo what they’ve been working on and get some coaching, It all ends with a jam session!
  
  Remember: makeups at GAA never expire!
