Day 1: Classic Broadway - History and Style

Morning Session (10:00 AM - 12:00 PM):

• Introduction to the Golden Age of Broadway.
• Explore landmark shows (Oklahoma!, My Fair Lady, The Sound of Music).
• Vocal warm-ups tailored to classic repertoire.

Afternoon Workshop (12:45 PM - 3:00 PM):

• Work on personal music selections in the classic Broadway style.
• Vocal warm-ups tailored to classic repertoire.

Day 2: Modern Broadway - Trends and Innovations

Morning Session (10:00 AM - 12:00 PM):

• Study the evolution of modern Broadway (Hamilton, Dear Evan Hansen, Hadestown).
• Compare classic and contemporary styles in vocals and storytelling.

Afternoon Workshop (12:45 PM - 3:00 PM):

• Focus on modern selections chosen by participants.
• Develop stage presence and interpretive skills.

Day 3: Audition Techniques

Morning Session (10:00 AM - 12:00 PM):

• Learn industry-standard audition protocols and slating techniques.
• Practice verbal and physical confidence in mock auditions.

• Rehearse a mock audition in front of peers and instructor.

Day 4: Recording Professional Slates

• Learn best practices for recording high-quality video slates.
• Guidance on lighting, framing, and vocal presentation.

• Record individual slates under instructor guidance.
• Review and refine recordings together.

Day 5: Rehearsal and Mini-Performance

• Full-group rehearsal of individual and ensemble pieces.
• Stage presence coaching and run-throughs.

Afternoon Workshop (12:45 PM - 3:00 PM):

• Perform selected numbers in a mini-showcase for family and friends.
